The midfielder feels alienated at the club.

At Real Madrid, Jude Bellingham feels neglected and overshadowed by Kylian Mbappé. At this point last year, the Madrid number five had already scored ten goals. But this season has been more than underwhelming for him as the player is yet to score. He is becoming frustrated with these stagnating figures.

The Englishman did show signs of displeasure against Celta Vigo this Saturday, particularly during one occasion in the first half when Vinicius Jr missed the pass to him while he was unguarded in front of goal. This action infuriated Bellingham.

The man who was nicknamed “Belligoal” last season is struggling in front of goal. He will need to score soon to allay his early-season frustrations, despite having contributed three assists since the beginning of the season.

Jude Bellingham, who was acquired from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023 for €103 million, was a sensation last season. During the beginning of the 2023-24 season, the Englishman filled in as a striker after Karim Benzema left, then eventually returned to play behind Rodrygo and Vinicius.

The 21-year-old phenom won over Madrid fans’ hearts in the opening half of the season by scoring multiple late goals to seal valuable wins the previous term.

However, this season it has been different after the arrival of Mbappe. His future with the Merengues, who naturally intended to build around him for years to come, has not looked clear after he shifted to his usual position this season.

The Stourbridge native was also expected to be a key player in one of the biggest football clubs ever. Real Madrid wanted to create a real dynasty in Europe over a number of seasons when Kylian Mbappé joined this summer.

The Frenchman, the Englishman, and the Brazilian duos Rodrygo and Vinicius had to work together harmoniously from the beginning in order to accomplish this. However, so far this has not been the case as the former Dortmund player feels alienated from the trio.
