Jude Bellingham scores bicycle kick as England win in extra time to qualify for Euro 2024 quarterfinals

Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane scored to hand the Three Lions a win.
England came back from behind to defeat Slovakia and go to the quarterfinals of the 2024 European Championship thanks to the heroics of Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane.
For the great part of the match, Gareth Southgate’s team were dreadful, but in the end, they managed to crush Slovakian hopes and secure a matchup with Switzerland in the round of eight.
Ivan Schranz struck a low shot past Jordan Pickford in the 25th minute to give Slovakia the early advantage. Slovakia had a stronger start to the game.
England lacked aggression on both ends of the pitch and failed to register a shot on goal until the last moments of the game when things took a turn for the better.
Jude Bellingham produced a spectacular bicycle kick that dramatically spared their blushes and gave the Three Lions a 30-minute reprieve. They didn’t take long to turn the game around, as one of England’s biggest turnarounds was completed by Harry Kane, who scored 52 seconds after the restart.
England tried utterly to level the score, but Declan Rice struck the crossbar from a distance. Bellingham eventually found the net five minutes into extra time, unjustly saving the Three Liones with their first effort on goal of the match, before Kane headed home in the opening minute of extra time.
England were completely outclassed by the Slovakian team that pressured their opponents nonstop and were aggressive right from the start. Ivan Schranz’s counterattack goal put Slovakia ahead in the 25th minute.
Switzerland defeated Italy, the reigning champions, 2-0 on Saturday to go to the quarterfinals and now will meet the Three Lions.
