While emphasising that a return to management is likely in the coming years, Jurgen Klopp has denied recent rumours of talks with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
Despite Jurgen Klopp’s continued links to prominent European clubs, the former Liverpool manager claimed that none of the Madrid teams had gotten in touch.
Before the upcoming season, Real Madrid’s managerial position is the main subject of conjecture. Alvaro Arbeloa took over for Xabi Alonso in January, but Madrid are now four points behind FC Barcelona in LaLiga.

“The rumors about Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid are annoying. No one called to open a negotiation. I’m sorry but they’d have to call before I can say anything. It didn’t happen”
After the 2023–24 season, Jurgen Klopp completed his nine-year tenure with Liverpool. Under him, the club won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, two EFL Cups, UEFA Super Cup, and Club World Cup. Later, Klopp took a job with Red Bull as president of global football, but links to important European clubs have continued.
Moreover, he hasn’t ruled out a Premier League return but stated earlier that he won’t join Liverpool’s direct rival team in the English top division.
