"For me, that's done," says Jurgen Klopp on touchline incident with Mohamed Salah
These two were involved in a heated argument during West Ham clash
Jurgen Klopp’s final season as Liverpool’s manager is not having a fairytale ending like everyone thought it would be. After getting eliminated from the FA Cup and Europa League, a poor run of Premier League results has cost them a possible league title.
Liverpool played a 2-2 draw in their most recent match in the Premier League. This was a frustrating result for the Reds. Ahead of the match, Klopp made a big decision to bench his star player Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian is the leader of the pack and their best-attacking player over the years. For many this move came as a surprise as Liverpool does not have a packed schedule up ahead.
As Liverpool were looking to confirm three points, Klopp decided to introduce Mo Salah. As the Egyptian was ready to take the field, a shocking incident took place that caught the eye of everyone.
Jurgen Klopp was involved in a heated argument with this star player on the touchline. The argument got so heated that Darwin Nunez had to step up and stop these two from getting at each other.
Mo Salah told reporters as he walked through the post-match mixed zone declining interview requests: “If I speak today there will be fire.”

Afterwards, Klopp refused to reveal what had sparked the incident but added: “We spoke already in the dressing room. For me, that’s done.”
Asked if Salah felt the issue was closed, Klopp said in his press conference: “That’s my impression, yes.”
Liverpool are currently third in the standings and have three games in hand. They are behind the leading pack and are unlikely to finish in the top two. Jurgen Klopp will hope to end his era as Liverpool manager on a high.
