Juventus reach loan to buy agreement with Manchester United for Jadon Sancho: Report
Sancho was omitted from the last two United games.
Jadon Sancho now might be heading to Italy on a season-long loan. Reports confirmed that Juventus have reached an agreement with Manchester United with a loan and an obligation to buy the winger.
Moreover, there is no issue on personal accord. The forward is keen to move. Once the final steps are done, the former Borussia Dortmund player will join the Serie A club.
Sancho, who joined United in 2021, has endured an inconsistent run of form. To make things worse the player had a spat with manager Erik ten Hag last season which saw him loaned to Borussia Dortmund in January.
Sancho enjoyed a fruitful short term at the German club. He led them to the UEFA Champions League final, where they lost 2-0 to Real Madrid.
The former Manchester City academy player later returned to United and it appeared things have become normal between the player and Ten Hag. But his exclusion from two Premier League games raised doubts about whether the Dutch manager was still counting on him for this season or not.
It appears the player is not in the former Ajax head coach’s plans for this season. The only way out will make sense for Sancho. Now United and Juventus seem to have reached an agreement. It’s just a matter of time before the deal is completed.
It will be a new life for Sancho who will play under new head coach Thiago Motta, under whom Juventus have been playing alluring football. Sancho’s addition to the attack will further make them an appealing team, one who can fight for the Serie A title and European trophy.
He will also be an ideal replacement for Federico Chiesa. Chiesa is set to join Liverpool after the Serie A club and the Reds reached an agreement.
Meanwhile, United, who have made plenty of changes, have made some excellent signings. Their latest acquisition has been Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain.
Sancho will hope to revive his career in Italy. He will expect to be a vital component under the former PSG head coach this season.
