Juventus & Napoli interested in swap deal involving Federico Chiesa, Giacomo Raspadori

The Old Lady are open to selling Chiesa.
As the summer transfer window has already commenced, clubs are looking to reinforce their squads ahead of next season. As per reports, Juventus and Napoli could be involved in a swap deal involving Federico Chiesa and Giacomo Raspadori.
Both players have similar transfer values. In the case of Chiesa, Juventus are open to selling the forward. He is not in new head coach Thiago Motta’s plans. Napoli have already shown interest in the forward, as new manager Antonio Conte admires the Italian player.
Both Raspadori and Chiesa are valued at around €25m. Both clubs are yet to get involved in formal discussions regarding the players’ transfers.
Also, Chiesa’s deal with the Old Lady expires in 2025. This means in six months time, he will be able to negotiate with any club to finalize a free transfer at the end of next season. Juventus might make up for this nearing pitfall by giving Napoli €5m to aid the swap deal. They don’t see Chiesa in the squad for next season and want to bring in a different player.
Chiesa wants to begin pre-season under new coach Thiago Motta before making a decision about a possible move. He is not in a rush to make a decision about his future in Turin.
AS Roma are another club interested in signing the Italian forward. Chiesa is also interested in Roma’s next endeavour, which Daniele De Rossi is spearheading. He is well-admired by De Rossi, who particularly asked him to join the club.
According to the Italian publication, Tuttosport, Juventus have requested €30m. But, there is a perception that the deal might be closed at €25m, including bonuses.
Chiesa has been one of the brilliant players, but the forward hasn’t achieved enough in Turin, like winning the Serie A title and other domestic cups. The 26-year-old is one of the highly-rated players and maybe a change of club will benefit the forward.
