Kaka makes BOLD claim on GOAT debate between Lionel Messi & Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo and Kaka played together at Real Madrid.
For years, players, fans, and commentators have been split on the question of who the best player of all time is. The two names that have dominated the conversation are Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, both of whom have had incredible careers full of goals, championships, and personal honours.
Argentina’s 2022 World Cup victory was widely seen as Messi’s decisive factor and the defining moment that set him apart from his longtime opponent.
But not everybody is in agreement. The notion that winning soccer’s most famous championship is the ultimate test of brilliance was recently rejected by a legendary personality in the sport, a World Cup winner and Milan’s final Ballon d’Or winner. His opinion has given the never-ending GOAT controversy a new angle and expanded the discussion.
As a major contributor to Milan’s historic victories and the 2007 Ballon d’Or winner, Kaka has made it obvious where he sits in the Messi vs Ronaldo argument. He is adamant that Messi is the most complete player in soccer history, even though he acknowledges Messi’s brilliance.
The former midfield maestro gave an explanation in an interview published by GiveMeSport as to why he does not believe the World Cup will be a deciding element in the discussion of the greatest of all time.
“Winning a World Cup doesn’t change anything. I won it all, and I’m not the best in history. Messi is a genius, but the best and most complete player in history is Cristiano Ronaldo.”
His remarks instantly generated debate among supporters, especially among those who think the Argentine’s World Cup triumph solidified his reputation. However, Kaka contends that greatness in soccer is based on a player’s entire body of work, consistency, and influence throughout several competitions rather than just one tournament.
Kaka is in a unique position to comment on this discussion. He achieved the highest level of soccer as a player, winning the Ballon d’Or in the same year, the UEFA Champions League with the Rossoneri in 2007, and the World Cup with Brazil in 2002.
