[WATCH] Kylian Mbappe confirms when Real Madrid move will be announced to Emmanuel Macron

Mbappe was overheard talking to the French president during national team training
Today, Monday, June 3, appears to be the day Kylian Mbappé’s move to Real Madrid will be confirmed. The forward was caught on camera ostensibly discussing his impending move with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Prior to the 2024 European Championship, Mbappé joined the French national team, and Macron made an appearance at the team’s camp.
With France facing a Euro 2024 warm-up match against Luxembourg on Wednesday, it was previously expected by AS that Real Madrid would likely announce the 25-year-old’s acquisition on Monday or Tuesday this week.
Kylian Mbappé and Macron discuss Real Madrid transfer at France camp
This is how the (most important part of the) conversation went.
– Macron: “Kylian, how are you? Are you in good shape?”
– Mbappé: “I’m good”.
– Macron: “Is it today that it’s going to be announced?”
– Mbappé: “Tonight, tonight”.
“It” can only mean one thing, can’t it?
Along with the other French players and noteworthy Real Madrid call-ups Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Ferland Mendy, Mbappe is presently serving with his country’s national team. As the French team prepared for what looked to be an exciting tournament, there was a palpable sense of anticipation and excitement around the camp.
Mbappé’s chat with Marcon clearly audible in a video released by the French media site RMC Sport, it appears that Monday will be the day.
Even if we don’t know the precise timing, we can only presume it will happen. It’s almost (technically) over—the longest-running transfer controversy in football history!
