The French forward has grown frustrated with the national team coach.

Real Madrid ace Kylian Mbappe has no plans to rejoin the French national team in the near future. The Frenchman may even be thinking about quitting international football, according to reports.

Many anticipated that the 25-year-old, who missed October’s games owing to a rumoured minor ailment, would return to Les Bleus as the international break drew near.

Didier Deschamps, the head coach of France, unexpectedly decided not to include his captain in the roster for the UEFA Nations League matches this month, which has sparked widespread criticism of the head coach despite Mbappe’s recent struggles at the club level.

The attacker didn’t get picked for Les Bleus’ forthcoming games against Italy on November 17 and Israel on November 14.

The French Football Federation and Didier Deschamps’ staff are at odds, as reported by journalist Romain Molina.

While Mbappe believes Deschamps’ tactics are the reason he doesn’t perform well for the national team, his mother, Fayza Lamari, believes there is a media plot against her son.

According to reports, Mbappe’s unwillingness to accept criticism and accept responsibility has angered other French players, and now the situation is turning out to be worse for the forward.

According to Tribuna, Mbappe was asked to be kept out of the France squad in order to “regain his form.” For another month in a row, the 25-year-old skipper of the national team will not be able to play for France.

Under Deschamps’ tutelage, Mbappe appeared and struggled for his country and helped it win the 2018 World Cup.

The former Paris Saint-Germain player was named captain of the French national team after Hugo Lloris retired. Following his exclusion from the French national squad, Didier Deschamps provided an explanation for Mbappe’s noticeable absence.

Since signing for Madrid in the summer, the 25-year-old has performed far less brilliantly than he did before and has scored just eight goals.

“I had discussions with Kylian and made my decision. It’s better this way,” Deschamps shared during the squad announcement.
