The AS Monaco midfielder will hope to return to full fitness before the 2026 World Cup.
Kylian Mbappe is looking forward to having Paul Pogba back in the France national team. Meanwhile, Pogba, 32 years old, is still awaiting his AS Monaco debut.
Kylian Mbappé of the French national team is already hoping for the midfield player’s comeback because he believes Pogba is crucial to the team.
Pogba hasn’t yet played for Monaco due to setbacks, injuries, and a protracted absence. The crucial question still stands: will he have enough time before the 2026 World Cup to return to his peak form?
Mbappe hopes for Pogba’s return to the national team

The skipper of Les Bleus made a clear statement in an interview with Téléfoot:
“We often call each other, I hope he will return to his level. Many people are waiting for his return. He is a player who brings something different, who does not leave anyone indifferent. His story, what he has been through… it’s touching. We want a positive ending for him.”
Pogba has always been a popular player in the football community despite his personal and professional challenges. In particular, Mbappe will always be appreciative of him for his leading role in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which France won.
Although Pogba’s career may have peaked at that time, Kylian Mbappe has continued to grow since then. He is now a Real Madrid attacker and feels a great deal of pity for his old international partner.
At this point, even his return to AS Monaco would be a victory, so people should just hope for that. Pogba is no exception. Monaco are giving him the time and encouragement he needs to resume playing.
With the 2026 World Cup now approaching, Paul Pogba will hope to make his debut soon and find his footing before the competition. He can only hope to get the chance to represent the France national team next year in the tournament.
