The French forward sustained an injury in a LaLiga clash.
Kylian Mbappe missed the main training session due to discomfort, as Real Madrid continued to prepare for the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal against Bayern Munich. It was more as a precaution.
At the Ciudad Real Madrid training facility, the team worked out in the gym before switching to pitch-based drills that emphasised possession, pressing, and high-intensity finishing. A reduced-size match concluded the session.

After a violent incident late in the game, Kylian Mbappe emerged from Friday’s 1-1 tie with Girona worryingly, leaving the field covered in blood.
But there seems to be some positive news regarding Kylian Mbappe’s fitness ahead of the second leg match against Bayern Munich. This is despite the obvious nature of the injury.
Mbappe’s availability will be a huge advantage for the team as they try to advance to the semi-finals because the match could still be overturned in the return leg.
Mbappe set to play during the weekday despite injury scare
The Frenchman’s absence from training was mostly a precaution. The stitches in his eyebrow made it difficult for him to train comfortably.
He is anticipated to return to training, though, and be prepared for the match against Bayern.
Since Real Madrid are already behind 2-1 from the first leg, they will need their top player to perform at his best if they are to have any chance of winning at the Allianz Arena.
The host team’s only goal at the Santiago Bernabeu came from Kylian Mbappe. They will need to score two goals or more in the second leg to smoothly advance on to the competition’s semi-finals.
