What is Kylian Mbappe's record against Croatia?

The Real Madrid star will captain France in the competition.
Kylian Mbappé was picked up to the France team for their quarterfinal matchup with Croatia in the Nations League.
Mbappé will lead the team against Croatia in Split after coach Didier Deschamps announced his roster. Three days later, the Stade de France will host the return leg. Mbappé’s retention as captain was questioned, but Deschamps affirmed the decision.
Deschamps stated that “it’s better that way” and that Mbappé’s difficulties were both mental and physical when he excluded the 2018 World Cup winner from Nations League games against Israel and Italy in November.
Despite missing previous matches due to a minor thigh injury, Mbappé nonetheless played for Real Madrid. He last played for Les Bleus in a Nations League match against Belgium on September 9.
With 48 goals, the 26-year-old Mbappé is third on France’s highest-scoring list, after Thierry Henry (51) and Olivier Giroud (57). He recorded a hat trick in the 2022 World Cup final.
“I am lucid enough to know what I do well and what I don’t do well. I know people were not happy with what I was doing on and off the field, and I wasn’t doing them well,” Mbappé said at a pre-match news conference. “I have no problem questioning myself. I have never had any problem with criticism when it is deserved and well-argued.”
Mbappé has scored 31 goals in 44 games this season, after having a rough start to his Madrid career. He will now face Croatia tonight having met them thrice so far in his career.
Mbappe boasts a decent record against Croatia. He first time faced them in the 2018 FIFA World Cup final when the France international was the youngest player in the squad and scored in the final. Below we take a look at how many times he has recorded a goal against them.
