Lamine Yamal takes next step in injury recovery ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026

Superstar Lamine Yamal of FC Barcelona and Spain is focused on the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. He continues to strive for complete fitness in advance of the competition.
In an effort to be prepared for the most important championship in international football, the Barcelona winger is continuing his recuperation. This comes after missing the team’s last month of play due to a hamstring injury in his left leg.
Lamine has now advanced in his recovery, according to SPORT. The Barcelona academy graduate has now advanced in his training after dedicating several weeks to recuperation work in the gym.

Lamine posted a video of himself practising with the ball on the grass at Barcelona’s Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper training complex on social media on Wednesday.
The 18-year-old forward is reportedly feeling better physically. Barcelona’s medical staff is pleased with the work he has done throughout his recuperation.
Even though he was unable to play in the LaLiga season’s closing stages, he is currently anticipated to be able to compete in his first World Cup, barring any more setbacks.
Lamine will go to Madrid this weekend, along with seven other Barcelona players, to start World Cup preparations.
Luis de la Fuente, the manager of La Roja, stated after the squad announcement that he expects the winger to be in sufficient physical shape for their first game on June 15 against Cape Verde.
The coach said he anticipates having him available for the second match against Saudi Arabia on June 21 if that is not feasible.
