Daniel Farke provides Leeds United injury update ahead of Wolves clash in Premier League Gameweek 5

Daniel Farkeโs men have been hit with plenty of injuries.
On Saturday afternoon, Leeds United will play Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the Premier League.
Daniel Farke provided an update on his teamโs conditioning before their trip to Molineux Stadium to play their next opponents. In an interview with reporters at Thorp Arch, he stated:
โYes we have a few doubts for this game. Daniel James is obviously a major doubt, he is struggling with a hit in the core muscle so a major doubt also for this game.
โAlso, Willy Gnonto is a doubt, struggling with some calf problems. Yes, missed a few training sessions so late calls with both of them but I have to say major doubts. Apart from that everyone is in a good place.โ
Daniel James got injured in the Fulham game
At Fulham last Saturday, Daniel Farke lost Daniel James due to an injury. In the second half, the Welsh international came off the bench, but he struggled after a foul and had to be substituted.
The fact that the player who replaced James is also a serious doubt for the Wolves match is another setback for Farke.
With just one goal in four games this season โ Lukas Nmechaโs penalty on the first day against EvertonโFarkeโs offensive side have come under heavy criticism. Farke would have three wing choices in Brenden Aaronson, Noah Okafor, and Jack Harrison if both James and Gnonto were to not return from injury.
Farke acknowledged that the goalie is still out, thus the manager was also asked to give an update on the injured Lucas Perri.
โHe is also out for this game and next week I would say we will have a clearer picture of how long he will be out. Like I mentioned for these two away games, we wonโt have him available and Karl will play again.โ
How many games have Leeds won this season?
They have won only once this season.
Where do they stand in the league?
They are currently 16th in the league.
Who is in doubt for the Wolves match?
