Lesotho vs Morocco Predicted lineup, betting tips, odds, injury news, H2H, telecast | AFCON 2025 Qualifiers
The Atlas Lions lead Group B with a better goal difference.
After suffering a humiliating 3-1 defeat against Central African Republic, Lesotho will return to action. They will play against Morocco on Monday in their second qualifying fixture. The Crocodiles are currently ranked 149th in the world.
They are one of the least favourite teams to qualify for the upcoming edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025). They come into this game on the back of three back-to-back defeats.
Standing in their way will be hosts Morocco who are among the favorites to win the African championship next year. The Atlas Lions have already qualified for AFCON 2025 as the host nation, but are still playing the qualifiers.
They started their campaign with dominating 4-1 over Gabon. All thanks to a brace from Hakim Ziyech, and a goal each by Brahim Diaz and Ayoub El Kaabi.

Players to watch
Sera Motebang (Lesotho)
Sera Motebang is Lesotho’s second all-time record goalscorer with 11 strikes to his name. The 29-year-old is a keen dribbler and also has a good physical presence on the pitch. Motebang’s lone goal in the last match was the only silver lining for Lesotho in their opening-day defeat. Moreover, he has experience of playing 64 games for the national team.
Ayoub El Kaabi (Morocco)
Morocco’s third all-time record goalscorer Ayoub El Kaabi put his name on the scoresheet after coming on as a second-half substitute in the last game. El Kaabi has already found the back of the net 25 times in 46 appearances for the Atlas Lions. He is a beast up front and has shown time and again what he can do on the international stage.
