Messi and Co. will be up against Zambia tomorrow.
Speaking before the second game of the March window, Lionel Scaloni announced that Lionel Messi will play in Argentina’s forthcoming friendly. Additionally, he outlined strategies for expanding the selection pool and preserving competition.
Argentina changed their schedule and looked for other opponents because, according to Scaloni, an agreement to host the Finalissima could not be achieved.
The South American giants were expected to play against Spain in the finalissima, but the fixture was cancelled due to the failure to find a neutral stadium by FIFA.
La Albiceleste will play Zambia at home, and supporters are excited to watch Lionel Messi, their biggest hero. Before the game, there had been a lot of ambiguity about what would happen and whether the Inter Miami star would play.
Will Lionel Messi play against Zambia?

The Argentine national team’s head coach has officially dispelled any worries about the number 10’s participation, leaving fans beaming.
“Lionel Messi will start tomorrow. It will be a serious test for our team at best level possible.”
Meanwhile, Lionel Messi’s decision on playing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup still remains unclear as the forward is yet to confirm if he is fit to play in the competition. It could be his last ever World Cup in national team colours.
However, Scaloni has commented that it will be fully Messi’s decision and he isn’t going to influence his choice. This will be the last international friendly before the South American giants meet in the USA ahead of the competition to defend the trophy after winning it in Qatar four years ago.
Where will the game be played?
La Bombonera, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
What time will the game start?
4:45 am IST (Wednesday, 1 April) and 11:15 pm GMT (Tuesday, 31 March).
