Throughout his career, Argentine footballer Lionel Messi—who is considered by many to be among the best players of all time—has won eight Ballon d’Or honours and three The Best FIFA Men’s Player honours, which is the most for any player.

Lionel Messi is the player with the most officially documented assists in football history (384), the most goals in LaLiga (474), the Supercopa de España (14), and the UEFA Super Cup (3).

In addition to becoming the first and only player in history to win five and six European Golden Shoes, Lionel Messi has 866 goals for both club and country during his time as a professional player.
