Alisson, Isak, Gomez & Frimpong - Liverpool injury news ahead of Fulham Premier League fixture

The Reds are enduring a big injury crisis.
Prior to Saturday’s Premier League match against Fulham, Liverpool head coach Arne Slot disclosed a twofold injury concern.
The return of Alexander Isak, who had been sidelined for three and a half months due to surgery, has significantly reduced Liverpool’s injury problems in recent weeks.
In Wednesday night’s 2-0 Champions League quarterfinal first leg loss to Paris Saint-Germain, Isak was included on a potent-looking Liverpool bench along with Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo.
Slot provides Liverpool’s injury update prior to the Fulham game
Slot has stated that he is worried about Jeremie Frimpong and Joe Gomez ahead of a crucial week for the team, even though he has described player availability as the “best it has been this season.”
Speaking on Friday, the Dutchman said: “Compared to the whole season, this is the best period of time when it comes to players available, but if i go away from here and I go into my office, I’m looking at my list and I’m seeing three defenders injured.“
“A right full-back in Conor Bradley, a centre-back Giovanni Leoni and a player that can play at centre-back Wataru Endo. The players I am of course worried about again for tomorrow will be Jeremie Frimpong and Joe Gomez.”
“Yes it’s the best it has been this season when you look at our bench against Paris Saint-Germain, it’s the best bench we have had throughout the whole season, but sometimes things don’t look as good as they might be.”
One Liverpool star could be rested while Isak might get a few minutes vs Cottagers
In the end, the change turned out to be a safety measure because the Dutchman returned to training a few days later and has since made appearances against PSG and Manchester City.
After playing 90 minutes in the Parc des Princes, Gomez, who has struggled with fitness throughout the season, might be rested to prevent another setback.
Slot also confirmed Alisson, who has missed the past three games in all competitions, will not be available for consideration against Fulham, but Isak is in line to receive additional minutes under his belt.
