Liverpool injury news for Wolves clash in Premier League GW 6; Alisson set to be available

The Reds will hope to continue their excellent form when they visit Wolves.
Liverpool, who have had a strong start to their EFL Cup defence, will next play Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Saturday night when they travel to Molineux.
Following their thrilling 5-1 victory against West Ham United in the 2024-25 EFL Cup, the Reds effortlessly advanced to the fourth round and will next face Brighton & Hove Albion.
A few days before the crushing of West Ham, Arne Slot’s team defeated Bournemouth 3-0 in the Premier League, moving them up to second place in the standings. They are now just one point below leaders Manchester City.
The Reds have appeared as a serious side under the head coach who is fairly new to the league. Slot hasn’t taken time to show his managing acumen since the start of the new season.
Liverpool injury update ahead of Wolves clash
Due to a hamstring injury he sustained earlier this month, Alisson Becker was absent from Liverpool’s previous two games. However, Slot has acknowledged that the Brazilian has resumed training and will be prepared for the match.
Due to a slight muscle ailment, Alisson was unable to play in Wednesday’s 3-0 success over Bournemouth and 5-1 Carabao Cup triumph over West Ham. However, manager Arne Slot announced on Friday that the Brazilian is healthy to play again.
Harvey Elliott will not be returning to action for a few weeks. The midfielder is recovering from a foot fracture sustained during the September international break.
Darwin Nunez, who scored his first goal of the season in the Reds’ most recent Premier League game, a 3-0 victory against Bournemouth, may also maintain his place in the starting eleven. Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo, who both netted braces on Wednesday, will compete with him, though for the spot.
In other areas, the same lineup has been deployed in the previous four Premier League games. The same is probably going to be used against Wolves as Slot tries to build on his outstanding debut in England.
