The Reds will face Tottenham this weekend.
With “interesting” developments on Cody Gakpo and updates on Joe Gomez, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Jeremie Frimpong, Arne Slot has given Liverpool’s most recent information on four injuries.
Gakpo and Gomez will not be with the Reds when they play Tottenham on Saturday, while Frimpong will rejoin the team after missing 12 games.
With Szoboszlai’s return to training following an ankle injury sustained against Brighton last weekend, a late decision about his inclusion may also be made.
Liverpool handed some positive injury updates ahead of Spurs clash

Arne Slot gave reporters the most recent information on the Reds’ injury issue on Friday at the AXA Training Centre.
“[Cody] had a scan that looked promising, so that means we’re not that worried anymore as we were maybe one or two weeks ago,” he explained. “He might come back a bit earlier than expected, but that’s definitely not tomorrow or next week. Joe is not in the squad as well.“
“Dominik trained yesterday, parts of training, for the first time, so let’s see where he is today and how he is tomorrow. Jeremie is in the squad again as well.”
Conor Bradley, who missed the 2-0 victory over Brighton due to a one-match suspension for five bookings, is also back on the field.
Szoboszlai’s availability may lead to a minimum one midfield alteration. However, he is anticipated to start at right-back with Frimpong on the bench.
Hugo Ekitike and Milos Kerkez both experienced cramps during last weekend’s triumph at Anfield, but neither is regarded as doubtful for the trip to Tottenham.
Mohamed Salah, who joined the Egypt team ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, will be absent for the game.
Will Cody Gakpo play against Spurs?
No, he will return next week.
Will Dominik Szoboszlai play?
His participation remains uncertain.
Where do Liverpool stand in the table?
