Liverpool injury update ahead of Europa League quarter-final tie against Atalanta

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jota have returned to training for a crucial period of the season
Prior to the final stretch, Liverpool received a significant boost in fitness on Tuesday when four important players resumed full training. Alisson, Stefan Bajcetic, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Diogo Jota all contributed fully to the Reds’ Tuesday afternoon practice.
This is true even though Jurgen Klopp hinted last week that it was probable the four would only participate in “parts” of the team’s practice this week. Whether any of those four can play against Atalanta on Thursday night after missing extended stretches of time is still up in the air.
However, with Liverpool still competing for the Premier League crown and participating in the Europa League, Klopp’s options will soon be expanded, which is a great development.
Due to a muscle ailment, Alisson has been out of commission since February. In the same month, Jota and Alexander-Arnold also suffered from knee problems.
Those seen in early films were Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo, and Curtis Jones.A young core of Jayden Danns, Bobby Clark, James McConnell, Kaide Gordon, Trey Nyoni, and Lewis Koumas joined them as they trained. Additionally visible were Joe Gomez, Kostas Tsimikas, and Jarell Quansah.

After an injury kept Alisson out for more than two months, he has missed the last 13 games. Caoimhin Kelleher has been playing a great replacement ever since.
Jota has missed a total of eleven and Alexander-Arnold has missed 12, but those numbers could rise before they play again. Due to a recurrent adductor injury, Bajcetic has only made two appearances this season.Joel Matip, Thiago, and Ben Doak would be the only ones left off the pitch when they are cleared to play again. With seven matches in the Premier League left, the Reds are only one goal behind leaders Arsenal and one point behind victors Manchester City.
In the Premier League, Klopp’s team takes on Crystal Palace on Sunday before travelling to Italy for the second leg against Atalanta on Thursday.
