The Colombian is yet to renew his deal at Liverpool
Two major European teams are reportedly interested in Liverpool star Luis Diaz. To talk about his future, the Colombian winger recently met his agent Raul Costa. With three years remaining on his current Liverpool deal, Diaz finds himself in a tricky situation this summer.
If the player does not agree to a new and better long-term contract, Liverpool are reportedly considering selling him at the end of the current campaign.
The Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules pose a threat, thus the club wants to get rid of players when their value is at its highest. The Telegraph claim that Liverpool value Diaz at £75 million. They also report that Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing him.But given their financial difficulties, the Catalan giants might have trouble raising enough money. Real Madrid have been mentioned as a potential destination for Diaz in the past. The 27-year-old winger and Ruben Amorim, who has been connected to taking over for Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, are represented by the same agency. It has been reported that the manager of Sporting Lisbon has verbally agreed to take over as Liverpool’s next manager.

Ruben Amorim nearing Liverpool switch
According to Sky Sports Germany, Amorim is prepared to sign a contract that runs until 2027.
Since moving from Porto to Liverpool in the January 2022 transfer window for about £37.5 million, Díaz, 27, has been an enormous success. He and Ruben Amorim, a possible successor to Jürgen Klopp, have the same agent, Raul Costa. It is believed that Costa recently visited his customer on Merseyside in Britain.
PSG and Barcelona are reportedly interested parties as well, though it may prove difficult for the Catalan team to give Liverpool the kind of price that Liverpool might be looking for given the state of their finances. Liverpool values Díaz at about £75 million.
