The Reds have splashed a lot of money in this summer window after winning the Premier League last season.
Liverpool’s 2025 summer transfer window started with a lot of ambition after their incredible Premier League title win in Arne Slot’s first season, matching a record 20th title.
Ambitions are high and the club are more active in the transfer window this time around, even if last summer’s was rather quiet and only saw the addition of one player. As they are ready to defend their English title in the 2025–2026 season, the Reds are also anticipated to continue their commitment to bolstering their roster.
For Liverpool‘s 2025–2026 transfer window, we have put together an exhaustive list of all the announced player arrivals and departures thus far.
Liverpool’s 2025 summer window signings
In addition to directly replacing longtime right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, Liverpool made their first acquisition of the summer transfer window when they signed Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen. Frimpong could also serve as a stand-in for Mohamed Salah while the Egyptian forward is away on international duty.
After reaching an agreement with Valencia in August, goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili’s £29 million switch to Merseyside was finalised when the transfer market opened. Meanwhile, the Reds sealed their second summer acquisition by acquiring goalkeeper Armin Pecsi from Puskas Akademia.

Liverpool then confirmed the signing of Florian Wirtz, as the two teams reached an incredible £116 million agreement.
Although the Reds are rumoured to be pondering a £100 million transfer for winger Anthony Gordon, it’s possible that the club isn’t spending a fortune on Alexander Isak of Newcastle United, who appears to be in the process of signing a huge contract extension.
Moreover, they have reached an agreement with Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt to sign Hugo Ekitike for a fee of £79 million ($106m).

The transfer of reserve goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher to Brentford and Nat Phillips’ permanent move to West Brom gave Liverpool an additional £18 million in cash.
In other news, Real Madrid are reportedly planning a move for Ibrahima Konate when his Liverpool deal runs out next year, while Bayern Munich are reportedly more interested in acquiring Luis Diaz.
