The Seagulls will be eying revenge for their midweek exit from the Carabao Cup.

After their midweek clash in the Carabao Cup, Liverpool are set to lock horns again with Brighton & Hove Albion in round ten, this time at Anfield on Saturday in Premier League action. They will be looking to maintain their winning streak in the competition.

Liverpool have made an encouraging start under their new manager, Arne Slot, who created history by becoming the first manager to guide the team to an excellent start to the season. The Reds are currently second in the table, trailing Manchester City by one point. His team boasts the best defensive record in the competition while also scoring an ample amount of goals. After defeating Brighton in the Carabao Cup, they are to face them this time at home.

Brighton & Hove Albion on the other hand will be aiming to bounce back in this game after suffering a midweek defeat against the same opponent which saw them get eliminated from the Carabao Cup. Now, the focus for Fabian Hürzeler’s side will be on this clash as they aim to pull another big result against a top opponent. Although the Seagulls are playing good football, they need to remain compact at the back after conceding goals regularly in recent games.

This season, Salah has already scored six goals in nine games and also provided another five assists making it 11 G/A contrzibution in nine games. The free role in the team has seen him have more authority in the game as he can roam anywhere and make an impact in the game.

Danny Welbeck (Brighton & Hove Albion)

Danny Welbeck has been in scintillating form this season for the Seagulls and is heading into this game in red-hot form. The Seagulls forward has already netted six goals from the opening nine games and has scored in the previous three consecutive games in a row. Welbeck has looked a threat from open play so far, often linking up the play and taking on shots from any angle when given the chance.
