Luis Figo names Barcelona player he would sign for Real Madrid & vice versa

The Portuguese legend names a current Barca midfield star as his choice for Los Blancos.
Once upon a time, it was Luis Figo who sent shockwaves across the football world after his controversial transfer from FC Barcelona to Real Madrid. There have been multiple transfers like this, but the Figo one has been regarded as one of the wildest for the fans of both LaLiga sides.
It was only in July 2000 that Los Blancos triggered the release clause and made it one of the most stunning transfers in the history of football. This transformed the Portuguese star into a polarising figure in El Clásico stories, also attracting a huge amount of hate from Barcelona supporters.
Just 25 years later, Luis Figo was presented with an interesting hypothetical question during an interview. He was asked, “If he could pick one Barcelona player right now to join Real Madrid, who would he choose?”
Luis Figo makes his choice

The Portuguese legend didn’t think twice before giving his answer. He picked Pedri as the Barcelona player he’d bring to Real Madrid.
Luis Figo, during his interview with h/t SPORT, said, “If I could sign someone from Barça for Real Madrid, it would be Pedri.”
When asked why, Figo explained that players like Pedri are “safe and important players in their teams.”
While picking a player for Barca from Los Blancos, Figo opted for “Federico Valverde” as his choice.
Both of these choices by the Portuguese legend are very reliable in every sense. Pedri is currently considered one of the top midfielders in Europe, and Fede Valverde has been one of the most consistent players for his club and country.
In a recent interview, Pedri said that Real Madrid had previously rejected him, saying that “he didn’t have the level.” So the chances of this transfer taking place are next to impossible.
