The Red Devils have already made two signings under the new board.

Manchester United have expressed interest in signing Bayern Munich right-back Noussair Mazraoui, who is open to reuniting with former manager Erik ten Hag. Both of them worked together at Ajax before parting ways. However, if Premier League giants hope to sign the Moroccan right-back, then they will have to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Bayern are open to selling the player for a fee of around £25 million, while United are confident that they can strike a deal on a lower price, which is expected to be around £18 million.

But they face a big hurdle in order to sign the right-back, as they will have to sacrifice one of their players to make the signing happen to remain within profit and sustainability spending regulations.

This means Man United will have to offload Wan-Bissaka, and the right-back has garnered interest from West Ham United, who are only willing to pay £15 million despite United spending £50 million when they signed him from Crystal Palace in 2019.

Since joining United, Wan-Bissaka has endured a mixed run at the club, but ever since Ten Hag became the club’s manager, the 26-year-old seems to have revived his performance despite injury set backs and has been one of the top players under the Dutch manager.

However, his future still remains uncertain, and he could be sold in order for the Old Trafford side to transpire the signing of Mazraoui, but the club has not received a satisfactory offer for the Englishman and might have to accept a big loss if they are to sell the 26-year-old.

United have already commenced their transfer business after signing Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna and Leny Yoro. They are set to continue the signing as they want to add a midfielder, and Manuel Ugarte has been touted with a move to Old Trafford from Paris Saint-Germain.

Ever since INEOS took over as new owners, the club has been moving quickly with new signings after new sporting director Dan Ashworth took control of the transfer business, but they will have to sell a few players in order to make any more signings.
