Man United target two Premier League stars as Casemiro replacement: Report

According to reports, Manchester United have selected two unexpected names for the role of central midfielders. They are expected to take Casemiro’s place when he departs Old Trafford this summer.
Casemiro, who reportedly joined United for £70 million from Real Madrid in 2022, has stated that he will be departing the team when his contract expires at the end of the 2025–2026 season.
Despite having some detractors, the Brazilian has contributed significantly to United’s midfield during the previous four seasons.
The 33-year-old will depart United after helping the team win the FA Cup in 2024 and the Carabao Cup in 2023.

Elliot Anderson, a midfielder for Nottingham Forest and England, is a top target. The East Midlands team may value him at more than £100 million, according to the Mail.
Thomas Tuchel, the manager of the Three Lions, is one among the admirers of the 23-year-old, who joined the City Ground from Newcastle United in June 2024. Anderson has a contract until June 2029 with Forest.
Carlos Baleba, a midfielder for Brighton, has also been linked to a transfer in the summer of 2026.
Baleba’s contract with the Seagulls expires in June 2028, and his estimated net worth is roughly £70 million, which is far less than Anderson’s.
The 22-year-old Cameroonian would be a comparable substitute for Casemiro, although Anderson has greater technical skill with the ball.
Adam Wharton of Crystal Palace is another midfielder being linked to a move to Old Trafford. Meanwhile, Marc Guehi joined Manchester City, and head coach Oliver Glasner has stated that he plans to depart Selhurst Park at the end of the current campaign.
