The Red Devils are among the clubs that want to sign the forward.
If Manchester United win the competition to sign AFC Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo, manager Ruben Amorim is “ready to modify the system,” according to Fabrizio Romano.
The reporter doesn’t specify what “system” he means, but the most likely explanation is that Ruben Amorim might adjust his formation slightly to make room for Semenyo and other recent forward additions like Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
Due to concerns about Patrick Dorgu’s ability, Semenyo was previously mentioned as a potential left wing-back.
But first, United must sign Antoine Semenyo before they can consider adding him to the squad; Man City, Liverpool, and now Chelsea are all in the running.
Semenyo, who has been in outstanding form this season with eight goals and three assists in the Premier League, is available because of a £65 million release clause in his contract. It can be triggered in the January window.

Bournemouth will have enough time to find a replacement because this clause will only be in effect until the second week of January. Meanwhile, Chelsea have also now enquired about the winger for his signature as his exit next month appears more certain.
Arsenal are not anticipated to be in the running to sign Semenyo next month. Mikel Arteta’s team see the deal as more of a summer transfer thing. However, the 25-year-old does not want to wait, according to David Ornstein of The Athletic.
After losing four important players during the summer, Bournemouth are eager to keep Antoine Semenyo. But if a club activates his release clause, they might be helpless.
What is Antoine Semenyo’s release clause?
His release clause is £65 million.
What formation does Ruben Amorim use?
He uses back-three systems, primarily the 3-4-2-1.
Which other clubs are interested?
Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea are also interested.
