Manchester City Predicted lineup vs Crystal Palace for FA Cup final 2024-25

City will look to win the cup once again.
On Saturday, Manchester City will face Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium in their 14th FA Cup final.
Although they lost to fierce rivals Manchester United in the previous year’s final, the Cityzens defeated their neighbours in the 2022–2023 final.
Although they haven’t yet regained their all-conquering form, Man City have significantly improved in recent months. They will be the clear favourite in the capital. They are still without Rodri, their key midfield player, but they have most of their big-hitters available.
Man City predicted lineup vs. Crystal Palace (Formation: 4-2-3-1)
GK: Ederson
Stefan Ortega made a critical mistake during his appearance in the FA Cup final last season. Ederson ought to be selected this time. He earned two appearances in the tournament on the way to Wembley, unlike last year.
RB: Rico Lewis
This campaign, the Englishman and Matheus Nunes, an orthodox midfielder, are splitting minutes. It’s a toss-up who will start at right back on Saturday.
CB: Rúben Dias
Man City have turned around thanks in large part to Dias’s consistent fitness, as the Portuguese centre defender is getting ready for a physical battle with Jean-Philippe Mateta.
CB: Joško Gvardiol
He will have taken note of his mistakes after conceding Man Utd’s opener in the previous season’s final. He scored in the semifinal triumph over Nottingham Forest, making the trip to Wembley much more enjoyable.
LB: Nico O’Reilly
With three goals and two assists this season, O’Reilly has been an important member of the team. At right wing back, he will have to deal with the unstoppable Daniel Muñoz.
DM: İlkay Gündoğan
The last time Man City lifted the FA Cup, the veteran scored a fantastic brace, including the fastest goal in the history of the final after just 12 seconds. Following that season, he joined Barcelona and returned to City after a campaign there.
DM: Mateo Kovačić
The Croatian’s dismissal during Chelsea’s 2020 loss to Arsenal makes him one of just six players to have been sent off in an FA Cup final. On Saturday, he will be looking for an improved outcome.
RW: Bernardo Silva
Silva will be looking to cap the season with goals at the renowned stadium after scoring a vital equaliser there in the Community Shield at the start of the season.
AM: De Bruyne
Kevin De Bruyne will be hoping for a flawless goodbye as he will hope to lead Man City to the trophy, given it is probably going to be his final appearance at Wembley, at least at the club level.
LW: Marmoush Omar
Marmoush, who scored a crucial goal at Bournemouth in the semifinal, is playing in his first FA Cup final. On Saturday, he has an opportunity to take home his first senior trophy.
ST: Erling Haaland
Haaland will be fired up in the capital after making a comeback against Southampton last weekend. In just four games against the Eagles, he has scored six goals.
