Manchester City reach personal agreement with Gianluigi Donnarumma: Report

The Italian goalkeeper is keen on a move to the Manchester club.
According to reports, Gianluigi Donnarumma has agreed on personal terms to join Manchester City.
Recently, negotiations for the Italian goalie to sign a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain, the French champions, fell through.
Instead of allowing the 26-year-old Donnarumma to leave on a free transfer next year, the Ligue 1 powerhouses have chosen to cash in on him now, with one year remaining on his present contract.
Additionally, Fabrizio Romano claims that the Italy international has reached a lucrative agreement with City, who are reportedly negotiating a transfer cost with PSG.
City strike a personal agreement with Donnarumma
Romano wrote on X: “Gigio Donnarumma has agreed on personal terms with Manchester City, keen on joining Pep Guardiola.
“Negotiations are also underway between Man City & PSG, fee will be under initial €50m request.”

According to reports, Donnarumma’s transfer to the Etihad depends on Ederson, Manchester City’s former first-choice keeper, who Galatasaray want, leaving the team.
Donnarumma has already left PSG, and Lucas Chevalier, a former Lille goalie, has taken his place.
Following Friday’s 1-0 victory over Angers, he took to the field to bid farewell to the PSG supporters in an emotional moment with the team.
As he approached one end of the field and clapped the supporters, the keeper, an unutilized substitute, received a thunderous ovation from the Parc des Princes supporters.
As he waved goodbye, Donnarumma, who was once linked to a move to Manchester United, appeared genuinely emotional.
The idea of Donnarumma joining City at the Etihad will thrill supporters, particularly in light of James Trafford’s terrible performance during Saturday’s 2-0 loss to Tottenham.
Spurs’ second goal came from a dreadful pass by him inside the area, and the 22-year-old England international was a nervous mess the entire time.
Why PSG didn’t renew Donnarumma’s contract?
The terms of the new deal weren’t liked by his agents, which resulted in the collapse of the contract.
When is the Italian’s PSG deal expiring?
His deal will expire next year.
Which club could sign Gianluigi Donnarumma?
Premier League giants Man City seem to be the frontrunners for his signature as per reports.
