Manchester City target Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga: Report

The Frenchman has failed to become a regular starter at the club.
With numerous clubs showing interest, Real Madrid player Eduardo Camavinga has become a target for a transfer to Manchester City.
Manchester City want to capitalize on Eduardo Camavingaâs failure to establish himself as a vital member under Carlo Ancelotti this summer.
Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport Germany claims that Manchester City are interested in signing Camavinga, a midfielder for Real Madrid, who is anticipated to decide his future at the end of the current campaign.
At Real Madrid, Camavinga is arguably having his most difficult season to date. The 22-year-old was anticipated to become an important piece in Ancelottiâs midfield when Toni Kroos left, Aurelien Tchouameni switched between defense and midfield, and Dani Ceballos was injured last month.
But Ancelotti has had a lot of trouble because of his ongoing fitness issues (he has missed 18 games this season) and his incapacity to put up strong performances.
Although Camavingaâs talent is undeniable, Madridâs management is worried about his lack of progress because he hasnât made significant progress while he has been at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Omar Marmoushâs January transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt was also made possible by the clubâs close ties with his agency, CAA Stellar, who also represent the Frenchman. City want to take advantage of Real Madridâs dissatisfaction with Camavinga.
Although the French midfielder has not yet made up his mind about leaving Real Madrid, with whom he has a contract through June 2029, Camavinga is apparently on Cityâs radar for the summer. It is stated that âmany clubsâ would want to sign him if he does choose to leave the Spanish team.
When Real Madrid visit Atletico Madrid for the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 match on Wednesday, Camavinga will probably be among the first players on the bench, assuming he doesnât start, given Madridâs current midfield options.
With Real aiming to win three trophies, the French star will be hoping to play a larger role for the rest of the season.
