Manchester City will lock horns with Liverpool in matchweek 11 of the English Premier League 2025-26 season. These clubs are going to come up with an intense fixture, which is scheduled to take place at the Etihad Stadium.

The Cityzens will be at home for their upcoming league game and will feel confident. They are in good form at the moment, and being at home will be a big advantage for them here.

Manchester City are currently placed in the third spot on the PL table. A win here will get them closer to the table toppers. They have faced some issues in their last few matches against Liverpool and will not be looking to repeat their mistakes here.

Although the Merseyside club are indeed the defending champion of the Premier League, they have not been able to come up with the best of performances since the start of the season. After their series of losses in the English top division, the Reds took down Aston Villa in their previous league game. They are now looking to make a comeback and re-enter the title race.

Rodri is likely to miss the game due to his fitness issues, and Mateo Kovacic will not be in action due to his newly sustained injury.

In the game, expect the Italy international Gianluigi Donnarumma to guard the goal for Manchester City. He has already done a good job since joining them.

The Cityzens’ defence has done a decent job with John Stones and Ruben Dias as centre-backs. Tijjani Reijnders, as a defensive midfielder, is going to play a crucial part. Savio will be ready to lead from the right flank yet again with Rayan Cherki and Phil Foden acting as the attacking midfielders.

Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister will be the defensive midfielders. Mohamed Salah will be ready to help his side from the right, with Florian Wirtz acting as the attacking midfielder.

Hugo Ekitike will be ready to lead his side as a striker in the final third. He will be looking to step up his game so that he can become a constant threat to the hosts.
