The Red Devils have already made two signings since the start of the transfer window.
To compete for European qualifying next season, Ruben Amorim’s club will need to make major changes after Manchester United’s dismal season, in which they finished 15th in the Premier League without winning any hardware.
The following season’s lack of European action may make it more difficult for United to draw in top players during the summer transfer window.
We examine all of the confirmed Manchester United acquisitions for the 2025–2026 season since the summer transfer window is currently open.
New summer signings 2025
Matheus Cunha, the first summer acquisition of the season, was successfully acquired by Manchester United from Wolves for £62.5 million. Despite attention from Saudi Arabian teams, especially an outrageous offer from Al-Hilal, they were also able to keep their captain, Bruno Fernandes, because the Portuguese wanted to stay in Europe.
However, the Paraguayan sensation Diego Leon, who was acquired from Cerro Porteno for a starting price of $4 million (£3 million), potentially up to $4 million in add-ons, would be the club’s first purchase of the Amorim era.
According to reports, the team is considering Bryan Mbeumo, a winger for Brentford. According to reports, the Cameroonian has stated that he would rather join Manchester United than other teams like Arsenal and Newcastle United.
The winger is expected to cost roughly £60 million to acquire, although United are reportedly willing to pay £55 million plus £5 million in bonuses.
Manchester United are reportedly interested in perhaps taking advantage of this circumstance, considering the uncertainties surrounding Nico Paz’s future with Como or his return to Real Madrid.
