Matthijs de Ligt is set to miss the game due to injury.
Manchester United have confirmed their matchday squad ahead of the Europa League 2024-25 final against Tottenham Hotspur tonight.
Diogo Dalot, Leny Yoro, and Joshua Zirkzee are among those who participated in Tuesday morning’s practice at Carrington after their individual recent absences.
Matthijs de Ligt, who was seen working out alone on another field, is one of just two first-team players who will miss the game due to injury; the other is Lisandro Martinez, who has been out for a long time.
Chido Obi, a young attacker, is not allowed to play in the Europa League.
The Dutch forward has travelled with the squad, despite Amorim’s earlier statement that he was “out for the season.” Despite having an injury, Diogo Dalot has been included in the squad.
As anticipated, players like Alejandro Garnacho, Mason Mount, and Kobbie Mainoo are all in the team. Amad could play tonight after making a prompt comeback from his absence.
The lineup aiming to bring home European success also includes Luke Shaw, the lone player from the squad that won the Europa League in 2017. Man Utd will look to have a great time on their second trip to the San Mames in less than a month.
They defeated Athletic Bilbao 3-0 in the first leg of their semi-final match before winning 7-1 on aggregate at Old Trafford. This season, United have won all 14 of their European games.
Amorim has suffered from inadequate final preparation. On Friday night, Chelsea defeated his club once more. Despite their recent terrible Premier League performance, they have found comfort on European nights and are now 90 minutes away from winning their third trophy in three years.
