Manchester United injury news for Tottenham Hotspur clash in Premier League 2024-25 GW 6; Victor Lindelof & Tyrell Malacia update

The Red Devils will host Spurs at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Manchester United will return to action this weekend when they face Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. The Red Devils have only two wins in five Premier League games this season. This is not a start expected by fans after many great signings.
But hope is still there that Erik ten Hag will manage to reverse the situation as the season goes on. But he won’t have much time. Pressure has already started to grow after they were held 1-1 by FC Twente in the Europa League.
Meanwhile, their last Premier League match was also a draw against Crystal Palace. With just seven points they languish in the 11th spot of the table. Now on Sunday, they will host a tough side who are in similar circumstances as United.
We take a look at United’s current injury news and the suspension going into the game against Spurs.
Manchester United injury update ahead of Tottenham game
United still have a few players yet to return from injuries. Leny Yoro continues to recover from a foot injury he suffered during the pre-season. He is preparing for a comeback, but precautions will be taken as the club doesn’t want to rush the player sooner than needed.
Tyrell Malacia was seen training with the squad but his return remains unknown. He is still not fully fit to participate in games. The left-back missed the entire last season with a knee injury.
Luke Shaw is still in rehabilitation. However, the left-back could be available for United’s game against Aston Villa on 6th October. But it remains to be seen given the full-back has been out with an injury since his return from Euro 2024.
There is still no sign of Victor Lindelof’s return. The centre-back did train with the club last week. We can expect him to be in the squad soon. Meanwhile, the rest of the squad are fit. The club don’t have any suspensions for their match against Spurs.
