The Red Devils are set to be without many key stars.
As his Manchester United players get ready to play Aston Villa on Sunday evening, Rúben Amorim has provided an injury update.
In a game that might have a significant impact on the Premier League title race, Manchester United will travel to Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon in an attempt to continue their impressive run away from home.
Rúben Amorim’s team has had a challenging run at Old Trafford, frequently blowing leads. Most recently, during Monday night’s thrilling 4-4 draw, where they let Bournemouth back into the game three times. However, United have been much more dependable away from home.
With convincing victories against Liverpool and Crystal Palace and draws against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham, the Reds have not lost on the road since late September.
This will be Villa Park’s most difficult test yet. With nine straight Premier League victories, Unai Emery’s team are in excellent form and are only three points behind leaders Arsenal. Aston Villa will view a lacklustre United as another chance to bolster their points record for a possible championship campaign.
It has been reported that Amorim’s team will go to Birmingham on Sunday without a few of its important players.

Casemiro received his fifth yellow card of the season and is currently serving a one-match suspension. Meanwhile, as they compete in the Africa Cup of Nations, Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo, and Noussair Mazraoui are unavailable.
Ruben Amorim confirms United injury status
Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire, who have missed United’s last three games, are still questionable. The manager confirmed their unavailability on Sunday.
“Matthijs De Ligt and Harry Maguire are both still unavailable.”
With Casemiro missing this game, Ruben Amorim must decide between Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo in midfield.
After giving up four goals against AFC Bournemouth, the absence of De Ligt, Maguire, and Mazraoui puts United’s defence under intense scrutiny.
