Only Harry Maguire is fit to participate in the game
Three more players were ruled out on the eve of Manchester United’s FA Cup semi-final match against Coventry, adding to the team’s already dire injury situation.
Mason Mount, Sofyan Amrabat, and Willy Kambwala will be out from the match at Wembley, further depleting Erik ten Hag’s already thin roster.
There have been more than sixty incidents of sickness or harm at Manchester United so far this season, and Harry Maguire is the only veteran centre defender who is now healthy.
Mount, Amrabat, and Kambwala, who has been playing more frequently in the first squad lately, were not present as United boarded the train to London.
Ten Hag might be forced to start Casemiro alongside Maguire, who faced Burnley in the Carabao Cup last year, due to the young defender’s unavailability.
Maguire’s fitness was also called into doubt earlier in the week; he didn’t practise until Friday following Manchester United’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.
Six senior players have already been ruled out by coach Ten Hag: Tyrell Malacia, Jonny Evans, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, and Victor Lindelof.

‘We have some problems. Harry, okay against Bournemouth, he struggled,’ Ten Hag said. ‘He had a small injury and he didn’t train this week so far but now he is back on the pitch. We expect him today to be back in team training.
‘He will be available I hope, for Sunday.’
Although none of them have made their first-team launches, youngsters Louis Jackson, Harry Amass, Habeeb Ogunneye, and Ethan Wheatley are all expected to be included in the squad.
Ten Hag has cautioned his players that they must give it their all if they want United to defeat their Championship rivals. United are going to be eager to prevent an upset.
The right-hand man of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Sir Dave Brailsford, appeared at Stockport Station with the team. Andy O’Boyle, the assistant director of football, also made the trip to the capital.
