The Red Devils still have a few injury concerns.
Harry Maguire, Benjamin Sesko, and Matthijs de Ligt were absent from Manchester United’s practice session on Thursday at Carrington.
At his pre-match press conference, Ruben Amorim is anticipated to clarify team news. United will take on AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League on Monday.
After the Wolves game, Amorim talked about De Ligt’s injury and expressed caution over his return:
“I don’t know, sometimes you have an idea then you have to see day by day. I’m not going to say when he is coming back.”
Because of an injury, the Dutch defender missed the recent West Ham United and Wolves games for Manchester United. De Ligt was at Carrington on Thursday to meet his commitments to the outside media, although he wasn’t a part of the training.

It’s unclear if Benjamin Sesko will be able to play against Bournemouth. However, the striker’s recovery from a knee injury has been reported to be going well.
After Sesko’s injury against Tottenham on November 8, the Bournemouth match was previously considered as a possible return date.
During the 2-2 draw with Tottenham, Manchester United defender Harry Maguire suffered a hamstring injury. Amorim stated last week that the England defender was “still out” due to the problem.
Lacey, Fletcher, and Fredricson were involved in Manchester United training
Shea Lacey, Jack Fletcher, and Tyler Fredricson were able to take part in the training session because a few of the senior players were not present. Noticeably, the last four Premier League matchday rosters have included Lacey.
When he loses Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo, and Noussair Mazraoui for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025) next week, coach Amorim has hinted that the youth players could prove vital in the games.
Amorim stated: “I think it’s going to be hard, but then that is the good thing about the experience, we lived so many limitations last year, because we changed in January, and we didn’t bring the players.”
How long will Harry Maguire be out?
His return date has not been revealed.
How long will Benjamin Sesko be out?
He could return in United’s next game.
