Many Manchester United players are up there on the list as one of the best creative players in Premier League history, with the club producing many such world-class midfielder stars, who set new records and guided the club to success during their time at Old Trafford.

We have many such names, but when we talk about which United players have made the most assists in a single Premier League season, the list only contains five players. With this, we take a look at the top five United players with assists.

Antonio Valencia began his career at Wigan Athletic as a potent right-winger, and after joining Manchester United, he has progressively developed into one of the top right-backs in the Premier League. Few people would have predicted this change.

Additionally, Antonio Valencia was at his most dangerous during that period of his career. In Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season leading the Red Devils, he even recorded 13 Premier League assists in the 2011-12 season, demonstrating his value to United in attack rather than defence.

4. David Beckham: 13 assists (1997-98 season)

With a few exceptions, very few Manchester United players have bagged as many assists in a single season. This includes the legendary Beckham, who contributed many assists during his stint at Old Trafford. When he produced 13 assists in the Premier League 1997–1998 season, he first made history.

However, because Arsenal defeated Manchester to win the championship, his amazing contribution for the season is not truly acknowledged.
