Manchester United vs Leicester City Prediction, lineups, betting tips & odds
Red Devils under new leadership will be looking to return to winning ways
Manchester United have sacked their manager Erik ten Hag, with Ruud van Nistelrooy named as interim manager. The club are reportedly in talks with Portuguese manager Rúben Amorim to take over from the Dutch manager.
Ruud van Nistelrooy’s first assignment will be when Manchester United host fellow Premier League side Leicester City in the EFL CUP (Carabao Cup).
Everyone had high expectations from Man United considering their impressive transfer window but you can only describe their current season with one word, Disaster. They are currently 14th in the Premier League with just three wins out of nine games played.
Leicester City on the other hand are currently 15th in the league. They have accumulated only 9 points from as many games and EFL Cup is one of their only realistic chance of winning a trophy.

Players to watch out for:
Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United)
The young Argentine is one of the only positives in Man United’s season so far. He is extremely dangerous in one vs one (1v1) situations. His composure in front of goal is way beyond his years as well. Manchester United should plan their future with him but at the moment, he is playing like their present as well.
Harry Winks (Leicester City)
The former Tottenham Hotspur player is having a great individual season. He can play multiple positions on the pitch and that makes him very dangerous. He is known for his technical prowess on the ball and his playmaking qualities. Harry Winks has already scored in this competition for Leicester City as well.
