Marcus Rashford wants Aston Villa permanent transfer: Report

The England international is currently on loan to the Villans.
According to the Sun, Marcus Rashford wants to turn his loan transfer into a permanent move to Aston Villa. Rashford is keen to continue improving under Unai Emery because he thinks the manager will be ideal in helping him regain his peak performance.
The Carrington graduate is hoping that a successful season with Aston Villa will help him earn a spot in Thomas Tuchel’s England team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
Rashford’s performances have improved dramatically since joining Aston Villa, as evidenced by his crucial play in their 2-1 comeback victory over Chelsea last Saturday. The attacker helped Villa win the crucial match by assisting Marco Asensio twice. He now has two assists since joining them.
After consistently leaving the winger out of his matchday squads, Ruben Amorim made it quite evident that Rashford had no future at Manchester United. Rashford’s January transfer was promptly authorized because Amorim felt he lacked dedication and effort, and his attitude was another major problem which resulted in his omission from the squad.
Following links with international powerhouses like Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, and Juventus, Rashford finally agreed to a six-month loan with Aston Villa. The deal includes a £40 million buyout option.
Unai Emery will hope that Rashford finds his footing at the club. If the club are impressed with his performance by the end of the season, then we might see the United academy player leave the Red Devils on a permanent basis.
Rashford also believes Emery is the perfect manager to resurrect his career. He did show signs of improvement in his performance for Aston Villa so far and will hope to continue his fine displays for the remainder of the season.
Rashford will next return to action with his team tonight when they host Cardiff City in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
