Martin Ødegaard & Jurriën Timber doubtful for Champions League second-leg against PSG

The Gunners lost the first leg 1-0 against the Ligue 1 side.
Jurriën Timber, 23, and Martin Ødegaard, 26, are both possible doubts for Arsenal’s match against PSG in the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg, giving them a possible setback, according to RMC Sport.
It appears more likely that Timber will not play versus Les Parisiens. The Netherlands international defender may be out for the remainder of the two-game contest after taking a knock against PSG in the first leg.
In addition, Martin Ødegaard might not play against the Ligue 1 winners. During Saturday afternoon’s 2-1 loss to Bournemouth in the Premier League, the Arsenal captain was observed hobbling off the field at the Emirates.
Arsenal are currently running behind ahead of the second leg tie against PSG. They conceded a goal in the first leg. Mikel Arteta will be expecting some comfort with two of his most significant players probably poised to watch the encounter from the sidelines.
Arteta informed reporters soon after the game that he is unsure if Timber would be ready in Paris the following week.
‘Confident? No,’ Arteta told a press conference. ‘At the moment no because he wasn’t able to play here and we play again in four days.’
A late-game incident in which Martin Odegaard seemed to stomp the ground while taking a shot was another topic Arteta was questioned about.
‘I haven’t had a chance yet to speak to the doctor giving me an update on that so I don’t know,’ the Arsenal boss said.
In addition to Jorginho and Riccardo Calafiori, Arsenal already are without Kai Havertz, Gabriel Magalhaes, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Gabriel Jesus. Declan Rice played 74 minutes on Saturday night as Arteta chose to start his main players.
With four minutes left in the game, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka were substituted. Meanwhile, Odegaard and William Saliba played the entire ninety minutes. They will now prepare for the second leg against PSG in Paris.
