Deploying Life-Saving Drones for Medical Emergencies

Over recent years, there have been numerous supporters who have lost their lives due to medical issues during different sporting events. Several football matches around the world have been interrupted after fans in the crowd suffered health emergencies, prompting urgent calls for assistance.

Looking at this matter, the organisers are coming in with special life-saving drones. They are going to act as the first responders during a medical emergency. The drones will be equipped with automated external defibrillators (AEDs), EpiPens, first-aid kits and communication equipment. The stadiums across Mexico, Canada and the USA will have these special drones.

The life-saving drones are also programmed to fly directly to specific locations across the stadium. They are also capable of delivering essential equipment to spectators before the medical teams arrive on time to take control of the situation. The special drones are specially designed to get to hard-to-reach places and can carry a 10lb payload.

The operation will be handled by the security technology company Motorola Solutions. Other than rapid medical response, the organisers are also emphasising the security concerns which will be related to unauthorised drone activity. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have already barred the supporters from using drones near the stadium premises.
