Mexico defeat Panama to lift Concacaf Nations League 2025 title

The Mexico national football team engraved their name in history as they emerged victorious in the final against the Panama national football team to lift their first Concacaf Nations League title. The USA national football team were on a winning spree and won three back-to-back titles until the Mexicans stepped up to bag their first-ever Concacaf Nations League title.
El Tri had a great run in the tournament. Their run almost came to an end after they lost the quarter-final first leg against Honduras. They staged a dominating comeback in the second leg to secure a win. In the semifinals, the Mexico national football team defeated Canada and booked a seat for themselves in the finals.
Raul Jimenez can be pronounced as a hero for the Mexicans here. The Fulham forward scored back-to-back braces for El Tri and led them to a title win. He scored an important match winner which led Mexico to their first-ever Concacaf Nations League title.
The Panama national football team gave a tough fight to Mexico but they conceded a late goal which led them to lose the title. This was the first time that Panama made it to the finals but they fell short this time. This was the third time El Tri entered the finals and finally this time they were able to bag the title.
