Arsenal have rebuilt themselves into one of the most formidable sides under Arteta.
Ever since taking the hot seat at Arsenal, Mikel Arteta has turned the north Londoners into one of the intimidating sides in Europe, who are now often favourites to win trophies.
However, Mikel Arteta, as the Gunners’ manager, doesn’t boast a solid trophy collection since being appointed as their manager in 2019.
Despite getting the favourite tag, Arsenal have always come short of winning a significant trophy. It remains one of the biggest obstacles for Arteta in recent years. In his seven years as the Gunners’ head coach, the former midfielder has yet to deliver a major piece of silverware, which has certainly frustrated fans.
However, maybe the 2025-26 season could be their make-or-break. They are very close to achieving this objective as they remain one of the most formidable sides to challenge for every trophy.
Nevertheless, Mikel Arteta’s time at Arsenal has been more of a failure despite turning them into a strong team. In the Premier League, they have come close to winning the title many times, but their inability to sustain their winning form has been the major concern. It has resulted in them losing the title race.
There has always been something the club have lacked, which has hindered their ability to win a trophy in any season. However, the Spanish manager will be keen to put a stop to it and establish himself among the elite managers in the league.
He has already demonstrated his tactical acumen in every stage. But to prove it to everyone, he will need to win more silverware to become one of the world-class managers.
