The Egyptian forward is enduring a poor form this season.
It looks like Mohamed Salah deleted all mentions of Liverpool from his Instagram and Xâs (formerly Twitter) bio. It follows Wednesdayâs Champions League victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, where the forward was not named in the starting lineup in a 5-1 win.
Salah has not performed to his typical level thus far this season. He has recently faced criticism for his play, including demands that he should be benched to ârecharge his batteries.â

It coincided with Liverpoolâs previous four-game losing streak, the most recent of which was caused by their fierce rival, Manchester United. Arne Slotâs team resumed their winning ways when Salah was excluded from the starting lineup.
However, he did get a cameo. Near the end, Mohamed Salah replaced Hugo Ekitike in the 74th minute, but couldnât get his name on the scoresheet.
Salah removes âLiverpoolâ mention from his Instagram and Xâs bio
Moreover, based on his recent social media activity, it seems like Salah is not satisfied with the conversation surrounding his performances this season.
The 33-year-old hasnât gone so far as to remove every image linked to Liverpool, but his recent bio updates reveal a lot about his present state of mind.
Compared to his past yearsâ heroics, Mohamed Salah has only managed three goals and three assists in 12 games this season. In each of his eight complete seasons at Anfield, the Egyptian has scored at least 23 goals.
However, the bulk of Reds supporters are still expressing their support for the 33-year-old, despite some criticising his performance this season.
Why did Salah remove Liverpool mention from his Instagram and X bio?
The reason has not been confirmed, but it could be related to his benching against Frankfurt.
How many goals has Salah scored this season?
He has scored three goals in all competitions.
Where do Liverpool stand in the league?
