The Egyptian is yet to start talks with Liverpool over a new contract.
According to reports, Mohamed Salah, a star for Liverpool, is negotiating a free move with Paris Saint-Germain for next summer.
Salah’s circumstances at Liverpool are dire because the Premier League giants have not yet extended his contract, which is slated to expire in the summer of 2025. As a result, Liverpool’s third-highest scorer in history, who netted his 13th goal of the season in the 2-0 victory over Manchester City, is now set to leave the team.
Mohamed Salah has aggressively engaged in negotiations with the current French champions, paving the way for a move to Paris next summer, according to French daily L’Equipe. Kylian Mbappe left the team in the summer to sign a free transfer with Real Madrid, leaving Les Parisiens in dire need of a superstar to take his place on their roster.
Paris Saint-Germain are still looking for a winger after their summertime attempts to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia of Napoli and Jadon Sancho of Manchester United ended in failure. Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao has also drawn interest from the Ligue 1 team. PSG have previously targeted Salah, and their best chance to get the Liverpool winger is probably next summer.
They can also get the forward for free if he fails to sign the new deal with the Reds, although the French are not the only side expressed interest in signing the former AS Roma player.
Clubs from Saudi America are also in the queue to bring the player while other European sides have also been monitoring his situation at Liverpool and are ready to pounce on any chance to acquire him.
Mohamed Salah could sign a pre-contract in January
Salah will reach the final six months of his deal with Liverpool in January. As a result, he will be free to negotiate a pre-contract with another team in order to get ready for a summer transfer.
If Liverpool continue their fine form as they sit first in the table they will win the league under new manager Arne Slot.
