The Oranje sit top of Group F ahead of tonight’s match.

Netherlands take on Tunisia in their final Group F clash in the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2026 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 25. The Ditch are top of the group on goal differential, and can seal qualification for the Round of 32 with a win against the already eliminated Tunisia tonight.

Ronald Koeman’s men began their campaign with a lively 2-2 draw against Japan. Despite leading twice through Virgil van Dijk and Crysencio Summerville, the European giants conceded twice to settle for a point.

However, the Oranje roared back in style in the next match against Sweden, securing a 5-1 victory. Brian Brobbey and Cody Gakpo netted braces, while Summerville added another international goal to his tally.

Despite having one foot in the next stage, van Dijk and company will aim to secure all three points tonight to ensure that they finish as the group winners.

Netherlands (4-3-3): Bart Verbruggen; Denzel Dumfries, Jan Paul van Hecke, Virgil van Dijk (c), Nathan Ake; Ryan Gravenberch, Frenkie de Jong, Tijjani Reijnders; Donyell Malen, Brian Brobbey, Cody Gakpo.

Substitutes: Mark Flekken (gk), Robin Roefs (gk), Memphis Depay, Marten de Roon, Lutsharel Geertruida, Jorrel Hato, Justin Kluivert, Teun Koopmeiners, Noa Lang, Crysencio Summerville, Guus Til, Quentin Timber, Micky van de Ven, Wout Weghorst, Mats Wieffer.

Thoughts on the lineup

Having found a winning combination, Koeman sticks with a largely unchanged side. Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen was brilliant in the last match against Sweden and retains his place between the sticks.

Jan Paul van Hecke and Virgil van Dijk have been strong in defence for their side and continue to be the preferred centre-back pairing. Although Quentin Timber has recovered from a concussion, Denzel Dumfries starts at right-back. Meanwhile, Nathan Ake replaces Micky van de Ven at left-back.

Frenkie de Jong continues as his side’s midfield anchor and is paired with Ryan Gravenberch and Tijjani Reijnders. Crysencio Summerville has been a standout performer, but he is once again dropped to the bench, with Donyell Malen starting on the right wing. Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo starts on the left flank.

Brian Brobbey was in brilliant goalscoring touch against Sweden and retains his place as the team’s centre-forward ahead of Memphis Depay.
