Netherlands vs Austria: All-time head-to-head record | Euro 2024

The Dutch are currently leading Group D.
With a 0-0 draw against event contenders France on Friday night, the Netherlands moved one step closer to their main objective of qualifying for the round of 16 for the eighth time in their previous nine European Championship outings.
Xavi Simons looked to have given his team the lead in the 69th minute, hitting into the bottom corner after Memphis Depay was denied by France custodian Mike Maignan, but neither side were able to score from their chances in Leipzig.
After a protracted VAR review, the goal was finally declared offside, with Dutch defender Denzel Dumfries found to have interfered with Maignan’s dive. This infuriated manager Ronald Koeman, but his team still managed to move within a hair of the round of sixteen.
Austria have lost their last seven games against the Netherlands, including a loss in Amsterdam three summers ago. This is their greatest current run of defeats against a single opponent.
They haven’t defeated the Oranje since May 1990, but they will need to break that losing streak on Tuesday night to guarantee a spot in the round of 16.
If Austria wins all of the points and France loses, they will actually win Euro 2024 Group D. If, however, they tie and Les Bleus lose, Austria would finish third on the head-to-head record.
