The Brazilian chose Messi when asked to pick between Ronaldo and the Argentine.

When questioned to choose between himself, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo in the GOAT discussion, Neymar didn’t think twice.

After making just five appearances for his new Saudi Arabian club, Al Hilal, the Brazil star ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament almost a year ago, resulting in a protracted period of time away from the field.

After a terrible time following an £86.3 million move from Paris Saint-Germain, he recently returned to action. The former Santos and Barcelona great participated in a quick-fire challenge with Pingpong.com around that time.

The 32-year-old was given the responsibility of selecting among the greatest players to have ever played the game. Neymar could only choose one of the two names that were provided to him.

Thierry Henry and Arjen Robben faced off in the opening bout, and Neymar chose the Arsenal great. Then Neymar chose his old Paris Saint-Germain colleague between Henry and Kylian Mbappe.

When pitted against other players – Ousmane Dembele, Kevin De Bruyne, and Jack Grealish; Mbappe, a star of Real Madrid and France continued to be picked up by Neymar.

When Ronaldinho entered the discussion, however, things were different, with Neymar choosing his compatriot.

Ronaldinho’s most challenging matchup was against Cristiano Ronaldo, but Neymar finally chose the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

The major event followed when Neymar had to respond to the long-running Ronaldo vs. Lionel Messi controversy.

However, he was always going to support Messi in finishing the bracket because he played with him at both Barcelona and PSG. There was absolutely no hesitation since Neymar is certain that Messi is the greatest player to have ever done it, having won eight Ballon d’Ors and 46 career championships.

Neymar also returned to action for Al Hilal but in his second appearance this season his cameo was shortlived. The forward was replaced due to a cramp he suffered in the AFC Champions League Elite match.
